Choose Your Packaging Format
Start with what you're packaging. Get the format wrong and you're reordering, relabeling, or risking compliance. Here's how to match product to packaging.
Single Pre-Rolls
Standard, glass tip, or ceramic tip cones packaged in pop-top tubes, CR tubes, or glass tubes. Your cone format determines your shelf positioning; your tube determines compliance level.

Three materials, three strategies. PET is the volume play — lowest cost, most durable. Glass signals premium — heavier, better shelf presence. UV glass preserves terpenes by blocking visible light. Here's how they compare:

Choose Your Tip Format
For pre-rolls and blunts, the tip is the consumer's first point of contact. It determines draw quality, shelf perception, and what price point you can command.
Standard (No Tip)
Paper cones with a standard paper crutch. The volume workhorse. Custom printing available in three paper types: rice, raw hemp, organic hemp. Lowest cost per unit in the catalog.
Glass Tip
Integrated glass filter with screen and plug. Premium visual and tactile cue. Commands $12-$20+ at the dispensary shelf. Available on both pre-roll and blunt cones. Custom logo printing on the tip.
Ceramic Tip
Superior heat control and cooled draw. The highest-end consumer experience available. Commands $18-$25+ per unit at retail. For luxury and ultra-premium brands only.
Wood Tip (Blunts Only)
Natural wood aesthetic for craft-positioned blunt brands. Warm, organic feel. Lower entry cost than glass or ceramic with strong shelf differentiation.

Plan Your Volume Strategy
Every product in our catalog has tiered pricing. The more you order, the lower your per-unit cost. But ordering too much ties up cash, and ordering too little means paying premium per-unit rates.
The sweet spot for most operators is the middle tier: enough volume to get meaningful per-unit savings without overcommitting capital. As your reorder velocity increases, scale into higher tiers.
For Michigan operators: our local stock (116mm pop-tops) ships in 2-7 days with a 100K MOQ. Use local stock for immediate needs and factory orders for planned production runs.

Understand Your Supply Chain
Most packaging companies are brokers — they buy from the same factories we do and add 15–30% markup. Here's what that costs you:
Factory-Direct (HIGHER Model)
Factory → HIGHER → You. One step. Owner accountability. We source directly from manufacturing partners, handle QC, and ship to your door. No markup layers.
Broker Model (Most Competitors)
Factory → Broker → Distributor → You. Two or three middlemen. Each adds margin. By the time packaging reaches you, the price includes 15-30% in stacked markup.
Retail-Adjacent (Some Competitors)
Factory → Retail warehouse → You. Higher overhead, smaller volume discounts, generalist approach. You're buying from a company that also sells to head shops and smoke shops.

Know Your Compliance
Packaging compliance varies by state. Getting it wrong means product recalls, fines, or license risk. Here's what to verify before you order:
Child-Resistant Requirements
Most states require CR on edibles and concentrates. Some require CR on all products. Michigan notably does NOT require CR on pre-rolls. Check your state before ordering.
Labeling Requirements
THC/CBD content, warning statements, licensee info, universal symbols. Every state has specific requirements. We include compliance documentation with every order.
Marketing Restrictions
No appeal to minors. No cartoon characters, candy-like shapes, or bright colors that imitate food brands. Your branding needs to be compliant before it goes to print.
Tamper-Evident Seals
Products must be sealed before sale. Consumers verify integrity. All our CR tubes and jars ship with tamper-evident features built in.
State Universal Symbols
Most states require a specific marijuana warning symbol. Size, placement, and design vary by state. Verify before you go to print.
Documentation
Keep CR certifications, material safety data, and test reports on file. Every HIGHER order ships with applicable compliance documentation.
